Mengingat Allah bermakna menyadari bahwa sesungguhnya Allah itu dekat, lebih dekat dari urat leher kita. Maka kemana pun kita berpaling, disitulah kita temukan wajah Allah. Mengingat Allah berarti menyadari bahwa Ia dengar suara-suara kita yang lirih dan tak sanggup kita ucapkan, ataupun teriakan-teriakan yang tak sanggup kita tahan. Maka apakah yang merisaukan, jika Ia senantiasa bersama? Maka apakah yang membuat lemah, jika Ia akan senantiasa menguati orang-orang yang datang kepadaNya?
