Need Money?

Money can buy a house, but not a home. Money can buy a bed, but not sleep. Money can buy a clock, but not time. Money can buy a book, but not knowledge. Money can buy food, but not an appetite. Money can buy position, but not respect. Money can buy blood, but not life. Money can buy medicine, but not health. Money can buy sex, but not love. Money can buy insurance, but not safety.

Building Bridges or Building Walls??

I once worked in an organization where people trusted one another. Where people told the truth, shared information, did not feel afraid of getting it wrong or being a failure. When people made mistakes, they were able to admit to them openly and ask for help. Managers were more interested in what lessons had been learned from mistakes than apportioning blame. Gossip and nastiness were uncommon. People could disagree or challenge each other, knowing that it was done with positive intent. People were open, the atmosphere was supportive, problems were solved easily, there was no need to read between the lines because you could rely on the fact that people communicated honestly and no one was ‘punished’ for speaking out. Because of this strong element of trust, people worked better and relationships – whether with customers, colleagues or suppliers – were stronger and more successful.

Love is....

I just realized something true about love after I read someone’s experience in the book. LOL, it’s damn funny to know that I was wrong for years. May be you’ll feel the same after read this story. Please enjoy yourself:                 At one seminar where I was speaking, a man came up and said, “I like what you’re saying. But every situation is so different. Look at my marriage. I’m really worried. My wife and I just don’t have the same feelings for each other we used to have. I guess I just don’t love her anymore and she doesn’t love me. What can I do?”                 “The feeling isn’t there anymore?” I asked.                 “That’s right,” he reaffirmed. “And we have three children we’re really concerned about. What do you suggest?”   ...

Have we done every single activity with effectiveness act? Well, I just read a book, and find a fable story. I think this is very inspired story. Hope you enjoy this story.                 This fable is the story about a poor farmer who one day discovered the nest of his pet goose a glittering golden egg. At first, he thinks it must be some kind of trick. But as he starts to throw the egg aside, he has second thoughts and takes it in to be appraised instead.                 The egg is pure gold! The farmer can’t believe his good fortune. He becomes even more incredulous the following day when the experience is repeated. Day after day, he awakens to rush the nest and find another golden egg. He becomes fabulously wealthy; it all seems too good to be true.             ...

A Battleship and a Lighthouse

Would you read this story? I think this is funny story about our perception, which is think that we are always true.  But…… let’s check this story first.                 Two battleships assigned to the training squadron had been at sea on maneuvers in heavy weather for several days. I was serving on the lead battleship and was on watch on the bridge as night fell. The visibility was poor with patchy fog, so the captain remained on the bridge keeping an eye on all activities.                 Shortly after dark, the lookout on the wing of the bridge reported, “light, bearing on the starboard bow.”                 “is it steady or moving astern?” the captain called out.              ...
